Minor Surgery

Skin conditions such as skin tags, seborrheic warts and sebaceous cysts can be annoying and have a habit of causing a problem at the most inopportune time. Dr. Burgess performs around 150 such operations a year and we can discuss whether these procedures may benefit from you in a normal 30 minute consultation.

We will discuss the condition at hand and will always discuss non surgical options with you. We will discuss the procedure in great depth and fill in a consent form so that you can know what to expect from the procedure. We will also discuss aftercare so that you can have the best cosmetic result you can. We always send the sample off for further analysis.

Where we suspect that the skin lesion is more serious and could have a chance of being cancerous we will organise a referral to a local specialist for a removal. We can organise this for you during the consultation.
